Hall of Fame artist to headline Summer in the City
For the seventh year running, Steinbach will welcome visitors from across Southern Manitoba and beyond for the Summer in the City festival. This year promises to be one the best yet with Colin James recently announced as the “classic headline artist”.
A Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee, James also has six Juno Awards to his credit, including those for “Male Vocalist of the Year” and “Best Producer” for his work with The Little Big Band. He is a recipient of 17 Maple Blues Awards and was recognised as 2013’s “Entertainer of the Year”.
The Road Hammers will headline opening night on Friday, June 19th.
In addition to great music, festival attendees can also enjoy a car show, multicultural performances, an array of food vendors, children’s entertainment, arts & crafts and Worship in the City on Sunday at K.R. Barkman Park.
